About Michael Vickers

Michael Vickers is an established London based singing teacher and vocal coach. He specialises in vocal technique and performance craft and has a particular interest in vocal health and singing rehabilitation. Michael trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he gained a first class BMus (Hons) in Vocal Studies and a first class master’s degree on the schools Opera Course. Working regularly with professional singers and ensembles both across the UK and Internationally, Michael teaches genres including musical theatre and contemporary commercial music as well as opera and classical vocal music. As a performer, Michael performs professionally in a range of styles and has worked with eminent conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, Sir Simon Rattle, Takuo Yuasa and Jirí Belohlávek. Michael is a certified Coresinging teacher and a member of both the British Voice Association and the Association of Teachers of Singing.
